Strategic Plan


Goal 1:
Create an educational environment that allows our students and staff to
utilize technology to become lifelong learners.

Goal 2:
Continue to improve student achievement with all students achieving
higher levels of proficiency

Goal 3:
Actively recruit and retain dynamically trained and culturally diverse professional
staff that reflect the community diversity and are highly motivated, success-
oriented, and student-centered

Goal 4:
Dramatically increase the number of parents and community members who
are positive and actively involved in a collaborative partnership to benefit students.

Goal 5:
Provide safe, secure, and clean school facilities.


Goal 1 - Objectives:

1.1 Provide standardized infrastructure so that all systems operate effectively and efficiently
1.2 Train the staff
1.3 Integrate technology into the curriculum

Goal 2 - Objectives:

2.1 Focus on relevant learning rather than teaching
2.2 Set high academic expectations for students and staff and communicate these widely
2.3 Set high behavioral expectations that are enforced fairly and consistently and communicate these widely
2.4 Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet varied needs of students
2.5 Treat all students with dignity and respect

Goal 3 - Objectives:

3.1 Train the staff in research proven instructional techniques
3.2 Develop strategies to enlarge the candidate pool
3.3 Seek additional resources to be able to better support meaningful staff development, compensation, and benefits for staff

Goal 4 - Objectives:

4.1 Create a positive communication system linking parents, community, media, and governmental agencies with the school
4.2 Form partnerships with local businesses and industries
4.3 Involve parents and community members, including business and industry in the education process of children

Goal 3 - Objectives:

5.1 Improve, increase, and implement effective communications with school, community and the public.
5.2 Educate community, school personnel, students, parents, emergency response personnel, and other stakeholders in emergency Management Procedures.
5.3 Create effective security and safety procedures on each campus.
5.4 Create consistency in implementation of discipline policy.
5.5 Provide education, training, and programs for students regarding safety issues.
