Small Business Computing Magazine salutes Schoollink.

Schoollink, a Fayetteville North Carolina technologies company, has been recognized in "Small Business Computing" magazines salute to the 100 most innovative original businesses for the year 2000.  Schoollink, installed a 44-site voice/data convergence installation for the Public Schools of Robeson County.  This project was a first for the school systems in North Carolina as it was one of the first large-base installations of a computer-integrated telephony PBX tie-in to a voice over IP Network.  This project has received a lot of attention throughout the industry and also captured the prestigious "Interactive Intelligence Vision Award" for innovative use of multiple technologies in a single application.

Schoollink, a North Carolina based technology company with corporate headquarters in Fayetteville was featured in the March 12, 2001 issue of CRN magazine.  In an article titled "Top Liners" written by John Roberts and Heather Clancy of the CRN staff, Schoollink is applauded for it's success and growth in a market climate that has been brutal for many ASP companies.

One of the key elements in the Schoollink story is the fact that the company maintains a development team that creates the company's own software.  In the CRN article CEO Erik Wells says, "Once your market becomes a commodity market, the only thing that differentiates you is your service.  Then you get so many players in the market, and even your service can't help you.  The only reason we can compete is because we own our software."

Aside from the development of really functional applications for Schools, Hospitals, and Municipal applications, Schoollink maintains a state-of-the-art training lab.  All of Schoollink's customers are assigned training time on the applications they are using.  In training sessions that vary from one to four days, intense learning models are used to assure customers maximum benefit from the applications they use.
